Does the gold fringed flag in courts represent federal maritime admiralty jurisdiction?
Kenneth E asked:
I’ve read there are 3 types of law. Constitutional or Common law, equity law, and federal maritime admiralty or statutory law? Which jurisdiction is it when i go to court? Has the flag always had a gold fringe? Thanks

Why doesn’t “Admiralty Law” apply to Somali Pirates?
Coasty asked:
For the last 600 Years Admiralty Law has been accepted Maritime Law worldwide. Admiralty Law is very clear that Pirates caught in the act may be summarily tried by the officers of the ship which apprehended them and if found guilty, hanged. Now suddenly Admiralty Law is ignored!! WHY?
