I do delivery for dominos pizza. I got fired yesterday after suing my employer just 2 months ago. The manager was bitter against me for calling him in court because he wasn’t willing to pay my medical bills after I a car accident.

I’ll tell my lawyer that and they possibly will go to court. What do you think will happen? Will they have to pay me for some time? I had 2 jobs

Why should he pay your medical bills for an accident? That is why you carry INSURANCE. You drive, you wreck, your problem.

If the accident occurred in your car, it is your car insurance that pays the bills, or, if it was another driver’s fault, their car insurance. This is not a worker’s compensation matter and Domino’s is not liable for any injuries that occur while you are driving your own car.

I’m assuming the accident was while working? Is it a company car? Most places do fire you if you sue them (even if it’s a legitimate reason). Actually, most places will fire you even if you just FILE a workman’s comp claim. I’m not sure of the legality of this, it does happen though & you could be in court for years over it. If it was during work hours, they should have to pay your medical but that may be all they are accountable for.
