Does selling drugs affect you from going military?
I am 18 and i was arrested for selling weed as my first offense, havent got arrested for anything but that. I was thrown in jail but had a lawyer, i was just wondering if that would affect me from enlisting in the military. I never did went to court, because my lawyer said he got everything taken care off.

my recuriter also said its okay, but im unsure

You really won’t know for sure until you go to MEPS and they give you a thumbs up or thumbs down. I’ve had a couple of arrests as a kid and I was approved for the Navy, it just requires a ton of paperwork, which you seem to have. Just be honest with your recruiter, and he’ll tell you what you have to do and what to say in order to most improve your chances.
IT depends on branch and what position you are trying to achieve. For example, if you were trying to get into an academy or ROTC unit, you’d better give up. I’m pretty sure that Navy, Marines, and Air Force won’t accept you, but I’d try anyways. Good luck.
