How much time does it take a car accident case to finally settle?

My mother’s accident took place in 2003. It still hasn’t come to an end. She went to an appointment today at the law offices of Kamal Antoine Bilal and they cancelled her meeting at court not just today, but this is the 3rd time they do it. My mother only speaks spanish and she told me the lawyer was surprised because she mentioned she had a daughter of almost 20 years…me. Are these lawyers nothing but fraud? When the accident toook place, a man came up to us and gave us a card to contact these lawyers. Do these guys just want money or what? I’m going to major in law next time. I would really like to know the approximate amount of time it takes for a case like this to be settled.

same as my mom 2003 shes still going on she hit ice and fish tailed the guy who hit her was like i saw her i didnt want her to hit in the wall so i hit her shes still going on we suied the township the plowed the road b4 the cops investigate it
get a different lawyer. mine took about a year for a settlement. either that or keep bugging your lawyer.
I was in a car accident a few years ago and settled out of court. It took about a year due to having to go to physical therapy and all that. Tell them you want some answers or you will take it to another lawyer. Most of these kinds of lawyers who work on these cases are no recovery, no fee. They might be taking advantage of the fact that your mother doesn’t speak English. Check into it.
