Lawyer opinion needed.had accident with vehicle/wrote off/while stored/was stolen/no Ins/over 2yrs ago/Sue?

You waited two years to check into this??? I’d ask a lawyer if you can afford one. Call some up, a quick consultation shouldn’t cost that much. Don’t do anything from an answer on here unless you know for sure the person is a lawyer in your state. My guess is that it’s possible that the vehicle could be considered abandoned if you never actually told the owner of the lot it was your vehicle. I dunno, threaten to sue the two guys who took it.
Either that or steal it back. It’s still titled in your name right? Just say you’ve had it all along….lol

They had the right to remove it and you have the right to claim it but you may have to pay for towing and storage. Check with a lawyer. In many places in Canada you can get a free 30 minute first time consultation with a lawyer. Use it.
I’d see if you could get a free consultation with a lawyer and then see what they say is your option.
Based on your earlier statement that it was written off, how can it have very little damage and be in good shape?
