NOT A DIME, I dont want to hear about feeding children. I know the pain of that. And no before you assume I dont have welfare either,, I dont like hand outs. I am 23 have no help from my parents and I didnt know what else to do. I certainly cannot talk to an insurance company as I have no idea how to handle the situation. I know the lawyer has to make his money but with about 10 thouosand worth of doctor bills I have to know that they are going to be payed.

Last summer me and a couple of my family members were involved in a car accident. Since then our lawyer has been working out all of these papers making sure the car insurance pays for the hospital bills. Our lawyer set a lawsuit against the other insurance company and every person in the car accident was supposed to get 30,000 dollars. But now the lawyer is saying that because I am not 18 I cannot receive my money. SO they have to put it in a bank account and I can only access it when I’m 18. What’s up with that? If this is true cant my mom just be my representative and take the money for me and then just give it to me? My mom is the one dealing with all this stuff and she doesn’t like to talk about it a lot so I was hoping someone here could help me.
