First DUI in Phillidelphia and now another in Missouri. What will happen?
I got a DUI in Philly about a year ago. I moved to Missouri and just got a DWI. I can’t afford a lawyer and need to know what is possibly going to happen. Does it matter that my first charge was in another state?

You can compare how the insurance quotes would change, for example here – autoinsurance.noneto.com
Your going to lose your license for awhile and have to spend massive money on classes and court.
Plus probably at least 10 days jail.
No, it doesn’t matter. You’ll be charged as a repeat offender. Expect jail time, a huge fine, license suspension for at least a year, several weeks of community service, and an alcohol ban.
you’re probably going to lose your license and you may have to do a little jail time. You’d better get a lawyer any way you can. You are in deep doo-doo. Best brace yourself for a bumpy ride. If you can plead for rehab, find Jesus, WHATEVER, do it.
You definitely need a new act that’s for sure.
Not good dude-time to either give up drinking or the car keys.
Missouri’s Second offense DUI penalties are as follows. And yes this is you second offense.
Jail – Up to 1 Year
Fine- Up to $1,000
License Suspension – 1 Year
Ignition Interlock Device Required After Reinstatement
License Suspension – 5 Years (If Within 5 Years of Previous Conviction) WHICH THIS ONE IS>
Ignition Interlock Device May Be Allowed after 1 Year
It all depends on your local state. Some states has much severer punishment for minors even with smaller BAC level. The files are all different because it adds up a certain point if there are other charges along with DUI. For the first time offender with no other history, the fine would cost around $500-$600 at the court. But again depending on the BAC level, your friend will have to take other classess and therapy courses which will cost more. It usually costs around $500 -$1,000 depending on the length of the classes. Jail time will not be likely but if he had other charges then it is possibility. I guess the best approach would be consult DUI lawyer even if it will cost you.
