Can anyone tell me if there are disability lawyers who do work on Long Island NY?

A friend of mine needs a disabiltiy lawyer & they’re broke, if you know of one or have had experience with any can you answers please?
Do disability lawyers take pro-bono cases? Or can the lawyer just take a percentage of their disability funding once its got?

    Disability lawyers work on a contingency basis they only get paid if they win and the consultation would be free so they do not need any money.~
