I had a injury on the job accident, and to make a long story short I sued them. I was on worker’s comp for almost a year and my lawyer just got money from them. I’m feeling better now and my injury is almost healed, can I go back and work for them, even though I sued them? The company was a hotel by the way.

How should I go about making this a law?

realcutie asked:

Something really tragic happened to me about 5 years ago, and now I suffer from PTSD. All I am saying about is this tragedy is that it was a car accident, which resulted in ruining my life. How would I go about making a law in my name to hopefully get some money so I can turn my life around. If you are wondering, this car accident was not my fault! Would I need to get a lawyer? I want to make this law national too. So what would I need to do?

Thanks!
I did not have PTSD 2 years ago; I have it now.

We applied for citizenship over 10 years ago. Our lawyer is lying to us. We spent a lot of money and nerves trying to get this green card and other documents. Now most have been denied for no reason, and others that said 3 months waiting time are turning out to be more than 1 and a half year waiting time. My child’s insurance and my drivers license are being canceled and wont be activated until we receive our green card. I have never been in an accident and pay all taxes and such. What do we do?

Car accidents, no insurance, suing?

Accidents Lawyers
Lauren asked:

My fiance was recently in an accident (he was riding his motorcycle). A small car turned left in front of him, he was unable to stop and slid the bike into the car. His bike is totaled, the girl who hit him was uninsured and the car she was driving was not in her name (the guy who sold it to her left his tags and the car is still under his name.)

My fiance does have uninsured motorists coverage, but since the bike is totaled he won’t get very much. He just recently got a lawyer but now is unsure if that will help him get any money at all. Because whatever he gets from the insurance that lawyer will get 1/3 of it. Is there a way he can sue the girl who hit him? Or something like that? I just feel terrible that he is going through all this while the girl is getting away with nothing. She’s a college student, so it’s not like she has any money or whatever, but its still not fair that he won’t get much for this accident. Any ideas? If you have any more questions please contact me
I also forgot to add that the accident occurred in Ohio. My fiance is from MD, the girl lives in OH right now for school but has an IL license, and the owner lives in MN

I don’t know if that would affect anything or not…

Is it me or are all lawyers crooks like this?

Accidents Lawyers
LosAngelesAngels asked:

I sometimes really think my lawyer isnt fighitng for my best interest. For example I have a accident case againts another driver that was at fault. I feel like I deserve much more then what the other insurance is supposibly offering me. I sometimes feel like the lawyer that represents you is out for his own money …. For example my lawyer might have made a side settlement with the other insurance company instead of me recieving a big chunk he would offer something small and keep a bigger commision for himself… Is this the way it usually is with lawyers? Or am I just making this stuff up because it seems like 99% of lawyers are crooks.

Why would a lawyer hold your money?

jaylo asked:

This is the situation. My brother was in a car accident and his neck was broken. The lawyer say’s the check is here and it is in my brother and his wife’s name , who he has had no contact with for 20 years. He does not know where she is.The lawyer say’s he has to hire another lawyer to find her for a divorce before he can release the check because it is in both of their names. He also say’s he has to pay hospital bills out of the check also. I thought the insurance company paid any bills before the check is sent to the lawyer for settlement.

How does it work to sue someone?

Accidents Lawyers
Speck Schnuck asked:

How does it work to sue someone who doesn’t have money? I was in a car accident few days ago, the other party was at fault, and she doesn’t have insurance. I have police report for the incident.

Right now, I have to pay deductible from my car insurance to fix the car and pay the co-pay for my hospital bills from my own health insurance. People said, I can take the person to court later and sue her for everything including my hospital bills.

How could I possibly sue someone and get my money back when she didn’t even have money to pay her car insurance? I have not talked to the lawyer since I was just discharged from the hospital last night, but I’m going to get one on Monday.

I need some help/ explanation as to what to do next so I can sleep this weekend. Thanks.
