To write off a student loan in Bankruptcy, Does it have to be exactly 7 ears old?
I have a canadian student loan. I was told by a bankruptcy attorney recently to wait to file bankruptcy for a few months because I could include them with creditors. I am having a lot of pressure from my creditors lately and I want to file earlier? Anyone know?

credit report with a fallacious judgment that prevented me from getting a student loan for my junior year at Penn State. Not only did it damaged my credit score,it also generated many acute circumstances such as me not being registered for my classes, work on campus (delinquent my credit cards),lost of my scholarships/grants,evicted from my off-campus apt,and repayments from previous loans which went 2 collection trying 2 prove that I was still in school. My parents and I couldn’t find a lawyer to deal with the problem because it wasn’t an identity theft case, but someone working for the credit bureau put the judgment under my name. My dad’s friend whom is an accident lawyer wrote 2 the credit bureau 2 re-investigate their claim and it was finally removed which was 2 late since Spring semester ended.I got very depressed, even more so lately since i should have been graduatin with my friends this semester. I’m still unable to get approved for a loan. Please Help me!!! Thnx in advance!
how to pay the student loan after car accident?
I have a student loan when I was in the college, I started pay back after I graduated 2 years ago, every month nelnet automately charged me about $200, but last year I was severely wounded in a car accident(totally other side fault), and my lawyer cheated on me and I didn’t get enough money for compensation. I lost my job and don’t have any income now, I have some medical bills have to pay to, I don’t have the ability to pay the student loan now, what I can do now? Thanks ..

Selling my house, where do I begin?
I’m disabled, live alone and still dealing with effects of Katrina. I need to sell my home so I don’t lose it but don’t know where to begin.
It’s a cute house, but needs several minor repairs and clean up. Pressure washing house and drive, minor plumbing, carpet pulled up and lino put down in 2 rooms; is stained, some painting. The fence is broken at the bottem from the kids and dogs next door.
If some repairs aren’t done how much does that effect the selling price, or do they overlook some things?
I can’t find a hanyman despite asking everywhere in town. Seems they are all working on bigger construction since the area is booming.
Is it difficult to handle the sale myself? Ideas as to what % realtors get?
Does the equity/check come directly to me right after the sale? I have a student loan that is overdue, though I paid regularly before I had my accident. My dire needs have to come first right now.Any chance ‘they’ could take that before or after I receive it?
Thanks

I inquired about renting it, but my ins.co was quite rude and said the homeowner MUST reside in the house as primary residence, and they do not offer a ‘fire’ or rental policy. We cannot switch ins.co. because none are accepting new clients in La.
I was denied an equity loan though I have a lot of equity in it, as my credit rating dropped a lot after the storms, as most people’s did. Any ideas?
